That's right. Our "allies" are also the same people we're told are our enemies. Who tell their people that we're the enemies.

Weird isn't even a worthwhile descriptor here.

But then, a closer look at the area gives a better idea of "why"...

Then, wrapped around this nation of Afghanistan that our GOP wants to put more trillions of dollars into than any other war ever...ARE all the allies.

It's because it's in their backyard.

Nobody wants to give the bin laden body up, so, that gets to be a forever argument from the right...

"He might be alive..."

Too many politicians are making money from this war, so they're loathe to stop it at all.

Keep the fear going for future elections because they really know how to trip our trigger, don't they?

The United States.

Canada.

Portugal, and the rest of Western Europe.
Heck, New Zealand may be able to claim its connection via Malaysia, as MOST of the allies, but we flat out have no business there at all.

So, not only am I up for the war to end in July...

but that they get all of our "allies" that don't actually SLEEP THERE, loaded up on some C-5As and get out of there in a two week period. A logistical nightmare, but quite feasible.

Unless our nation's "leaders" decide that utilizing the fear is better for their elongated stay in office.
