really surprised me (especially when I opened the seasonings cupboard) and really ticked off Steve as I spent all day creating the thing that I thought would take a few minutes.
I think I'll try Boxer's method next time, eh? If I aim for Sunday night...it might just be done by Monday noon.
oddly compelling. the little stuff of life with a soundtrack that fit...perfect when you got to the little votive in the window the way the light hit it. there was an odd voyeuristic component to it...things i recognized from earlier posts, jeans mug, that you have a rooster and i love that kind of kitcshy japanese cherry blossoms and bird. all in all a very enjoyable tribute to RED> happy MM!
Yeah...the Japanese screens...Ma left us both (my brother and I) about ten of them.. Too bad his..(J,P,LM) third wife poked them into their telephone book drawer and they laid there getting slowly deteriorated for a year or so. When I found them, I rescued the whole bunch and put them between the sheets of acid free watercolor paper, each in its own space, and let them set like that for a couple of wives (his, not mine. Two was my lesson in life) and then gave him half, I kept half. That's how Ma did everything.
Glad you liked it, but, I'm thinking I went too far and didn't quite get what I was trying to do. Ah well, I forgot the secret to all life. "Keep it simple, stupid" and maybe next time I'll do just that, eh?
I have to say I absolutely love how you did this. Very clever. Lots of red all about us. And I have that same Betty Crocker cookbook, just never use it.
Thank you, Moi. It was way too much for what I wanted, but, I have a tendency to just follow the feeling. As I mentioned to K9 and Covertlover, though...I really need to remind myself to 'keep it simple'...
Nobody ever needs to apologize for lateness, here. Good golly! I was born two weeks late, my two shots at MM were both WAY afternoon.... HA! I'm just always glad for company.

Very personal RED Mute. I'm glad you're back this week.
Good evening Boneman,
Yes, you do have plenty of red.
Happy Mute Monday!

Looks like you found a LOT of red to me. Good stuff.
Happy Mute M...uhm...Tuesday!
I reckon if I'm late, MT will do nicely, Troll.
Pam, thing is, every once and a while I still have to look up complicated recipes like, boiling water, frying eggs, that sort of stuff...

Very clever and such a fun tour! I love your windows. Happy belated Mute Monday!
Thank you, Moi.
